As part of their 10th-anniversary celebration, The Juans are set to release a new single titled “Pasensyoso” on Friday, January 17, 2025.
The four-member pop-rock band sees this highly-anticipated track as the start of a fresh chapter.
According to lead vocalist and keyboardist Carl Guevarra, the single is just the beginning of a new era for the group. “We’re working on a full album that we’re really excited for people to hear,” he shared.
“It’s got that familiar hugot (heartbreak) that everyone loves, pero this time, we’re also exploring new themes,” he added.
The band is also stepping out of their comfort zone with their new music.
“Each member is stepping up to take a bigger role in shaping the band’s sound this time. We’re not just sticking to what’s familiar—this time, we’re trying mga ibang (other) genres, and we’ll push our creative boundaries to bring something fresh sa fans,” added acoustic guitarist RJ Cruz.
In addition to new music, The Juans teased an upcoming tour across the Philippines and abroad.
Although details haven’t been announced yet, Guevarra hinted that this year will be all about growth for both the band and their fans, saying, “We’re looking forward to connecting with Juanistas again. This will be a year of growth for us and our fans.”
Last year, The Juans stayed active by releasing five singles, including the upbeat track “Pwede Ba Kitang Ligawan” in February, and the heartfelt “Napagod Na” in April.
They also collaborated with P-pop group ALAMAT on the song “Gupit” and ended the year with “Rebound” and “Tama Ka Na.”
Their fans can look forward to more exciting music and events as they mark this special milestone.
