Hayley Williams, the lead singer of Paramore, shared a note on her Instagram Stories to mark her 36th birthday.
Thanking fans for the birthday wishes, she said, “It's beautiful to feel seen and celebrated."
“35 felt like tilling soil and throwing little seeds down. Waiting, waiting, waiting to see. 36 is exciting and a little scary, already,” she added. “So much to hope for. I'm still in the dirt, ready for whatever might grow. Fruit?”
Before ending her post, Hayley teased her tour in crossed-out writing. “I’m going to try and finally play some shows next year that would've happened nearly 5 years ago now. That is, if the world doesn't f*cking stop before then. Here's hoping.”
Hayley released her debut solo album Petals for Armor in 2020. Her second album Flowers for Vases/Descansos dropped in 2021.
Paramore released their comeback album This is Why in February 2023 and went on tour in support of it. It includes singles like “The News,” “C’est Comme Ça,” and the title track.
They also joined Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in 2023 and 2024.
Hayley also appeared on Taylor’s song “Castles Crumbling,” from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).
