Typecast and Urbandub are teaming up for a joint 25th-anniversary tour in 2025, as announced by Numinous Philippines on December 16, 2024. While details such as tour dates and ticketing are yet to be revealed, fans can expect updates soon.
The two iconic Filipino rock bands have shared stages multiple times over the years, including their recent performance in October 2024 as special guests for Hands Like Houses' Manila show.
Typecast, formed in 1999, is known for hits like “The Boston Drama” and “Will You Ever Learn.” They’ve released four albums, with their latest single, “Slight,” dropping in August 2024. This marked their first release in five years.
Urbandub, formed in 2000, is celebrated for tracks like “First of Summer” and “A Call to Arms.” After a hiatus in 2015, they reunited in 2018 and released a re-recording of their debut album, Birth.
In 2023, they reissued their classic album Influence on vinyl, which quickly sold out. Their classic lineup held a special reunion concert in Cebu in August 2024.
Fans of both bands can look forward to this milestone tour, celebrating 25 years of their legacy.
