The Dawn is preparing for their 40th anniversary with a special concert titled Almost 40.
Although their official 40th anniversary will be in 2026, the iconic Filipino rock band announced the concert on their social media platforms.
The show is set for February 22, 2025 (Saturday), at 8 PM at the Music Museum in San Juan, Greenhills.
Recently, The Dawn released their first Christmas song, Maki-Pasko, on November 29, 2024. This marked their first single after signing with Sony Music Philippines. The band hinted at more new music in the coming year, saying, “We are currently preparing to release more songs in 2025.”
“I’ve experienced holidays away from my family, so I drew from that personal experience when writing the lyrics. The song speaks to those moments of solitude and the desire to be with someone during the festive season,” shared guitarist Francis Reyes about their latest track.
Since their debut in 1985, The Dawn has consistently reached new milestones, with even greater goals ahead as they continue their journey.
